DKMS and Music Saves Lives Create a Worldwide Partnership to Save Lives

For Immediate Release

DKMS and Music Saves Lives are reaching out worldwide to help in registering youth for the marrow program.

The DKMS mission is to save lives by recruiting bone marrow donors for leukemia patients. More than 22,000 DKMS donors have helped save lives by donating their bone marrow. DKMS is the largest bone marrow donor center in the world with nearly 2.5 million registered donors. However, there are still thousands of patients who cannot find their donor match. DKMS will continue to recruit bone marrow donors until every patient gets a second chance at life.

Music Saves Lives has been a huge source for reaching youth and educating about the importance of registering for the marrow program.   Many musicians have found that MSL is a great resource to help educate fans about this life saving message.

With the resent leukemia diagnosis of Nargel from the band Behemoth and the resent loss of a close friend of the band Lamb of God the metal music world has been hit hard.

In the next few weeks Music Saves Lives will launch a full program to educate about the importance of being on the national marrow registry.  You can register now at
